We have been doing surveys of our class, making tally mark charts, turning them into bar charts and then making statements about what the charts tell us.
Have a look at the charts below and then leave a message on the blog about what you can tell from the charts. For example, Only 1 person liked Hokey Pokey ice-cream or 7 people liked strawberry ice-cream the best. I wonder if anyone will think of a statement that compares two facts.
The fish is the most popular pet in the class. The turtle is the least popular pet in the class. No one has a snake for a pet.

The Snakes have the least number. The turtles have the second least.
