Story by Room 1 and Room 17 together
One day Room 1 and Room 17 were at Mrs Fryer's house having a picnic. We all skipped down to the bottom of her garden and there we saw a small creature. He was crawling through Mrs Fryer's vegetable garden scoffing all of the vegetable. It had yellow fur, a long spiky tail and a slimy, pink snout. It saw us watching it and ran behind the bushes. We snuck up on it and it had gone. When we turned around we noticed that it had made friends with Sophia and Laura and was licking their hands. It was slurping and gurgling happily. "Oh, look," screamed Amber. "It's soooo cute," squealed Catrina as she rushed towards it to pat it. We decided to give the creature a name. We had to choose between Spike or Fluffy. The boys all liked Spike and the girls all liked Fluffy. So Mrs Martel and Mrs Fryer decided to call it Fred. Suddenly, Gianni saw that Fred had some friends. Setareh screamed, "Oh my goodness, Fred has got three babies!" "Hey, they're eating our picnic," yelled Robert. Fred and her three babies had disappeared into our picnic baskets. All we could see of them were their waving tails as they devoured all of our food. Ji-Ho and Ian picked up the baskets and shook them vigorously. Out fell Fred and her family and they ran up the garden into Mrs Fryer's house. We looked EVERYWHERE, but we never found Fred and her family. Mrs Fryer never saw her cat again either. I wonder what happened to it.... (but that is another story!).

Lucky - I haven't been to Mrs Fryer's garden for a picnic.......I am trying to imaging the creature (using my visual thinking strength). Is Fred a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore?? thanks for your creative writing.......
