Bubble Fun!!

On Friday we had lots of fun blowing bubbles!!

Before we went outside we talked about what the bubbles would look like.  We had a look on Youtube at some enormous bubbles that have been blown  - some of them are amazing!!  We talked about adjectives that we could think of to describe the bubbles.

Then we went outside to blow bubbles.  They were a little tricky to photograph as the wind blew them away quickly and also because they are almost invisible.  We had a lot of fun blowing bubbles, as you can see.

Following this we came back into the classroom and wrote a long list of adjectives that we could think of to describe the bubbles.  Using this amazing list of adjectives we all wrote a poem each about our bubbles.

Keep an eye out for some of our wonderful poems that we have written.

  1. Dear Room 17,

It looks like you have been having lots of fun at school. We think you are excellent at blowing bubbles.

We brainstormed some adjectives to describe your bubbles. They are: fantastic, gigantic, bright, awesome, brilliant, pretty and excellent.

We wish we could blow bubbles like you. We wonder who has blown the biggest bubble ever?
